Ceramic Sub- biggest mistake ever
Hi All, I just purchased what I always thought to be the ultimate sports watch, However less than 24 hours after walking out of the AD I could not be more uninspired or disappointed.
By way of introduction, I recently celebrated a 40th and thought to mark the occasion I would purchase my first Rolex- I have a Pam 005 and an old style 2002 Breitling Superocean. I remember as a kid seeing all the magazines with the Rolex watches and thought one day I will get one - besides James Bond in the original Sean Connery movies wore one. Anyway as I mentioned I am looking at it here on my dresser and I am quite rankly bored by it- I have no one to blame but myself as I did not have a gun to my head when purchasing - though I do admit to never quite feeling 100% right about it I convinced myself that I needed this watch to validate my significant bday. I could return to the AD shop I purchased however I foolishly removed the protective plastic stoker on the watch so the best they would do is a credit note and much devalued as it is not new- thats how they would see it. What is my best option to get as much of my money back - sell online myself - I have never sold anything on line so have no feedback - people buy the seller and I have no track record, or should I sell to one of the watch dealers you see advertised on the back of magazines. Really annoyed with myself and think this will end my pursuit of watches for ever more:bang head: Any advise much appreciated |
