Hello All,

My name is Dan and my obsession with watches is growing! I know joining this forum won't help either but it seems like such a great community.

I currently have a few mechanical's in my daily rotation: Tag Heuer Carrera - Cal 1887, Seiko Sarb023, Steinhart Ocean 1.

I actually told myself that I would never get an overpriced Rolex, but here I am; researching and obsessing over them.

I'm particularly interested in the the SubC (114060 and 116610). I still can't decide between the two, but I'm learning towards the simplicity/symmetry of the no date.

I went to an AD the other day and they offered me no discount whatsoever. They tell me that Rolex controls the prices so they aren't allowed to lower their prices.

There are recommendations to buy from reputable seller on the forum.
If AD's are not allowed to go below MSRP, how are these re-sellers able to sell at such a good discount, and also, are there any particular sellers on the forum that you would recommend?
