Made the Switch!
Traded in my 2004 Sub 16610 and my 2012 Omega PO 2500 for the new Sub C straight up! I've had my eye on the Sub C since it's release--the ceramic bezel, solid links, glide-lock clasp, and maxi dial were just too much temptation!
I hadn't worn the PO in nearly 6 months--made the mistake of buying into the fad of huge watches and bought the XL version (45.5mm) and just didn't like the way it looked under or basically over the cuff! Purchased the Sub from a buddy last year as a dress watch and fell in love. Of course, as many have posted--once I bought my first Rolex it was over! However, after spending many hours on the Forum and hanging out with my local AD trying on watches I knew I had to have the upgrade!! The Sub C is the perfect watch! I had some thoughts of trading for the GMT iic "green lantern" as I am a consultant with one of the "Big 4" and travel a lot--in the end the Sub C was the one. I haven't become adept at watch photos yet, but here are a few from earlier today after I left the AD. Oh, love the new warranty card credit cards--they have a new magnetic strip on the back that the AD swipes at sale that sends all of your and the watch's info to Rolex! Apparently, all the new watches will have this new feature. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
