We are well aware of that yes. But in this case disclosing the incorrect functions on the subdials is not exactly some little secret detail that we're worried the criminals will find out about. There are other things wrong about this watch that haven't been discussed.

Chances are this watch was bought by someone originally who knew quite well it was fake, like on the street while on a trip to China. I know several people who have bought Fauxlexes in this manner and they knew exactly what they were buying - it was even disclosed by the street vendor. One guy said they told him they had fakes of various quality depending on how much he wanted to spend. Some of these undoubtedly end up on Ebay and the like where the crime is perpetrated yet again.
