Rolex and the new Swatch Sistem51

The Sistem51 was introduced at Basel last year. With only 51 parts for an automatic watch and the assembly process completely automated this is a revolutionary watch. I've been on the waiting list since last summer only to be disappointed with delays.

The watch was first introduced to the U.S. In New York on 1 July and then in San Francisco last week. I took the day off from work to visit the pop-up store as they aren't accepting online or phone orders. There was even a person that flew out from Dallas just to purchase this watch. I also stopped by the SF Rolex authorized service center and picked up a new insert for my 16710 and visited Shreve's to check out the new Sea Dweller. If Jacek is around I'll stop by his store next.
