Need help identifying DD dial.

Greetings.... recently dug out this old safe queen from my father's safe. Its an old DD he purchased around 1998. Very interesting dial but he can't remember much about it. So I would like to ask the all Rolex knowledgeable members of this forum to help identify this dial. I tried google without much success. Model number on the receipt is 18238-83858-P04. So can anyone with knowledge about this watch please share whatever you know. We are definitely keeping the watch, but would like to make conversations about it more interesting in the future.
