I have read the GMT thread, Submariner/Seadweller, and the websites, but, I still had questions. The Mondani Books have such larger and detailed pictures. I was able to figure out what other articles were discussing. The clear pictures and details, and some detail magnified even larger, allowed me to figure out the differences in the Seadweller Dials. I was pleased to find out I had a Mark I Dial. I finally figured out what Edge Surrounds were because of comparison pictures. I like the GMT Book. Again, clear pictures and details, and some detail magnified even larger helped me figure thinks out. It helped me figure things on the GMT’s I had read, but was not sure about. The one thing I did not like on both books was a lot of the advertisements are only in Italian. I would have liked to have read them. As has been said elsewhere, If you are looking for a lot of history, it is not there. If you are looking for a watch, and are not sure, this has helped me a lot The price guide that comes with both books was helpful. jmho
