Rolex forums, Sorry about being a show off and a jerk.
When I originally came to this forum I was researching a gift for my wife. I was already a watch collector, such as it is, but never owned a Rolex and was trying to figure out which one to get her.
Watches are wonderful pieces of engineering and if I could have been a watch maker I would have been just as happy as I was in my original career. I enjoy coming here and reading about the Rolex watches. I also enjoy sharing my experences. I enjoy seeing some of the photos and think about how the person made the shots and how I might be able to recreate and do something different with images. I changed careers and am now a Photographer that is working toward improving my product photography skills. This website has some great images of these wonderous pieces of engineering. Now on to what this post is about. I have posted in the threads showing my collection, my steering wheel and my Daytona. To be honest I look back at it and I am ashamed. I was taught to be gratful for everything I have and don't be a show off. I come from a meger life and was fortunate in life. I was sucked in to the entire show me what you have concept in some of these threads. I was trying to produce images but on the inside I wanted to show off too. I'm guilty of being a show off here and I'm sorry about that. I also owe you all an appology for being critical and rude to a few others about them doing similar. When I looked back at my self thats when I realized what I was doing. I shouldn't have acted this way and am feeling like a complete ass because of it. I promise that any images I post in the future will be my attempts at being artistic.
