Airking at WW 2 crash site (pic)

I attached a link to the WW 2 plane crash the I hiked to in Upstate NY. I also attached my Airking Pic near part of the plane. This crash was in 1944 and I thought the Airking would be a period correct watch (if you know the AK history) as I believe it was first introduced to be used by pilots of the British AF during that time. Please feel free to correct or add and info on the history. I also have never seen a pic of an AK that old if someone would like to post. Pics of the site in the above link.
