2014 Daytona

I am considering purchasing a new SS Daytona can you guys give any information on when the last updates were made to this model and if I need to look for anything specific to ensure I get a current model , I realise its unlikely that i would find an old version given their desirability,

One question is do the Daytona's feature the solid oyster bracelet like the Submariner C ? I am guilty of rarely wearing my other watches to avoid wear and scratches as a result they come out on birthdays and holidays but if I purchase I must wear it every day to justify the purchase and am conscious about early bracelets going slinky like the Jubilee bracelets.

Have these watches been given the Syloxi hairspring? Which i understand to be lower maintenance and have a longer reserve?

Is there anyway to confirm the year on these since the random serial numbers became apparent

Any thoughts would be appreciated
Alan
