Luminor 1950 Cases

Now I have in my hands the Panerai catalog and all models are very cute.
But I have a question, the Luminor 1950 cases are all the same? For example in the catalog would seem to me that the 537 has a more square case than the 321. This seems more round to me. It is an optical illusion or are they really different?
My favorites are the 312 and 351. For my taste would have preferred these models with manual winding but Panerai only manufactures these models automatics.
Have a nice sunday guys.
