Does advertisement work?

Just opened one of my favorite magazines "Men's Journal" and on the front page is my watch. Nice surprise.

Just throwing out the question which could have endless debate.

Is Rolex success based on how much they advertise or does it just support an already great brand?



I for one, tore out a similar ad and posted it in my home office as a goal reminder. It works.
