Hello from Quesnel BC Canada
Hello one and all . My name is Harvey thompson and I am new to this forum .Am I ever glad I found it as I have just recently been bit by the bug and find myself wanting to buy a new Rolex for myself and possibly for my wife as well . I do have an Oyster Perpetual Date in stainless steel that I inherited from my father and I believe he got it in the 1950's . I'm trying to get the bracelet off to get the serial # but I'm having a hard time getting it off and when I do I'll post the # and see if someone can tell me how old it is . I wear it everyday and I love it . For some reason I find myself wanting to buy a brand new one . Have been doing alot of research on them and I do know exactly what I want but I don't know how to go about getting one as there is no dealer close to here . I'm looking at going to Vancouver or Edmonton to find a dealer . Does anyone know what an Oyster Perpetual Datejust in SS , jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel retails for in Canada ? The exact model # I want is 116234ssj.
One last question is what about these internet sites like SwissLuxury.com , are thy reputable and has anyone had experience buying a rolex from them ? Thank you all in advance and I look forward to many more posts as I quest for my dream watch. Harvey |
