A collection centered upon or limited to Explorers makes sense to me as they are great watches with a heritage. The 214270 is, IMO, the epitome of understated ruggedness and class. While the Explorer I can certainly do it all, arguably better than the Explorer II, one does compliment the other nicely.

For me, I am typically in a suit and tie Monday through Friday while something sportier for the weekend is nice, unnecessary with the 214270 in the house, but nice nonetheless.
