Icon5 Ladies Datejust time and date setting directionality

Went to the safe to wind my wife's future birthday present (31mm DJ bought from an AD). Winding seemed to be in the same direction I was used to (crown turned clockwise), but to set the date and time, I had to wind the crown in a counterclockwise direction, which is opposite to what I've encountered with the men's models.

Is this the norm for ladies' DJs/all ladies' Rolexes?
