Question About Competitive Cooking Shows?
Hello guys,
I was watching the Food Network lately and as usual there were a few competitive cooking shows on (Iron Chef, America's Worst Cooks etc). I notice that there's a segment, during the cooking, where the contestants do a "talking head" segment about what they're cooking or about their opponent's dish. Obviously this can't be filmed during the cooking (time constraints) or before (they would know what the secret ingredients are), so my question is - when is the talking head filmed? The only time it seems that they could squeeze in the filming is after the contest is done. This seems like a bit of a bummer for the contestants who already know that they've lost, to still talk about their food as if they have a chance of winning. Does anyone have any idea? Sorry for the random question, LOL
