Need some suggestions regarding AP vs PP vs RM vs Newman
Hi guys,
Thinking about adding a new watch to my collection. To be honest, bought a lot of PP recently so PP is the last one on my list. But the cheapest one :) 1. Audemars Piguet GMT Concept Tourbillon (this exact reference) The price will be around 125,000 Euro. This would be my first ever tourbillon watch and a perfect one for that (as I think tourbillon is a movement looking better on a sports watch rather than PP with closed tourbillon or something like JLC with open tourbillon. Minute repeater is for more classical style watches, in my opinion of course. The size is good for my wrist as well. 2. Richard Mille RM35 Nadal Carbon I do not have a Richard Mille & Skeleton so that would fit nice for me as well. The price will be around 80,000 Euros. Also the size is really good and this for me is really a good looking & sporty watch. Can't be sure about the price & also the availability though. 3. Patek Philippe 5960P Black Dial The cheapest of all, will be around 55,000 Euro. They produced so little numbers of this version (around 100-125). Have similar watches to be fair. 4. Rolex Daytona Paul Newman 6239 This is the most collectible watch of all 4. I very much want to own one day, just not sure if now or not. Will be around 60,000 - 80,000 Euros depending on condition. Will be hard to find one mint and complete set. The size (37mm) is a bit small for my wrist as well, but I don't really care about it for this specific model. Your thoughts? I'm thinking to get rid of my PP 5164A and AP Carbon Grand Prix as a part of trade, if I go for AP or RM. For the others, I'd keep those two and just pay cash. PS. Also been offered a RM11 Dual Time (didn't get a price for that one yet), but probably will be very close to AP Tourbillon. Thanks, Salih |
