Breguet - Quality and (owning) cost?

Hi all,

I'm considering getting a Breguet Type XXI, a watch I've wanted for a long time.

When thinking about the watch I suddenly got a feeling that I've read that it's quite expensive to own, and it breaks down quite often.

Are these notions correct? Would I be shooting myself in the foot, money wise, buying this watch?

What are your thoughts?
