Panerai repair.
as you all know my panerai was sent into to serivce and some interesting info was given to me by the NY head office when i contacted them about my 3 1/2 month repair time which is a joke and I think the TX service center needs to get it together as i have not heard good things...
anyway she said that all their floors are rubber so if by chance something gets dropped it will not cause a ding or scratch on the watch (inless it bounces back and hits into the wood watch makers table) LOL also she said that all tools used are plastic tipped so there will be 0 scratches or marring of the screw heads when being taken apart.. until they get into the mov inside thats where the metal tools come into play.. just some interesting info for yall.. I hoep i get my watch back sooner than the july 20th quote they gave me.. the watch is 3 weeks old and now it needs a new case and i have to wait this long... talk about upsetting news. ontop of it i got my new strap from ABP france and have been wanting to post some pictures but have no watch to put it on!! i called NY to talk to someone higher up to see if they can try to bring my repair time down to a more fair time frame like the usual 4 to 6 weeks... will see i guess... |
