Exceedingly Rare Rolex Precision Campbell Named For Record-breaker

This is an opportunity to own something that I have never seen before. I have sold hundreds of Rolexes by now and have seen thousands. Never yet have I come across one of these until now. It is in a gold-filled ID case with a stainless screw back, which is correct, has the Rolex Superbalance 15J 700 series movement commonly known as the cal.1210, or its immediate predecessor from the 1930s-1940s. The dial is two tone, a copper colour, with outer metallic silver seconds chapter, with sweep seconds, and fancy radium pointer hands. It comes with a fresh overhaul and timing, which will be performed for the buyer on payment, and before shipping. Signed Rolex movement, nice and clean all around. I have just been given vital information regarding this timepiece. It is named after SIR MALCOLM CAMPBELL, a 1930s speedfreak who took his famous BLUEBIRD up to nearly 500km an hour on the Boneville Salt Flats of Utah, becoming the first person to drive an automobile 300 miles an hour. He was wearing a Rolex when he did it, apparently, and to commemorate his achievement, as always, Wilsdorf and his shrewd marketing team added yet another benchmark to their line of watches. Yet I have never seen one of these before, so it is no doubt exceedingly rare.
