Sub-date bezel problems!

Hello,

my first post! I`ve had my Sub Date (16610) for 12 months ans the rotating bezel has become unbearable stiff and rocks back and forth when pressed. I assumed this is not normal and took it to the Official rolex dealer from whom i bought the watch and they said it may not be covered by the 2 year warranty! can anyone advise me if it would be covered as they`ve sent it off to be assessed and the RSC but told me i may be liable to pay for any repairs!

regards,

Jeffo
