New DD 40mm to replace DDII 41mm?

Ok I'm a a bit confused here and havnt been able to find an answer. The new DD 40mm which was just released on baselworld 2015, will it to replace the DD II? Meaning will the DDII be discontinued? Or will the DD be available in 3 sizes from now on 36,40 & 41? Don't see the point of Rolex selling a 40mm alongside a 41mm of the same watch ... Has Rolex given any info regarding this?

So let's say if the 40mm does replace the 41mm and the 41mm is discontinued. In this case what is likely to happen to the DDII in value? Will it increase, stay the same or decrease?
