Twisted Dial
Hello all!
I'm new here and have a question concerning the dial on my datejust. Within the past couple of months I've noticed the dial is twisted off center by about 1 minute dash. This throws off the ability to clearly see the date and is just annoying in general, not to mention it scares the crap out of me since I value this watch greatly. Have a look: The weird thing is, once in a great while the dial will be right on the money, as if it corrected itself. I don't know if this is caused when it self-winds or when I change the time (as there are times I don't wear it for a few days and it stops). Some background - This watch was given to me by my father when he died several years ago. I hadn't worn it for many years in fear of losing it or scratching it, then I decided there was no point to having it if I couldn't enjoy it as he intended. So I've been wearing it almost daily for the past year. This problem only began somewhat recently. Any help with this is greatly appreciated! Thanks! |
