Thoughts on SDc4000 vs the new Pelagos?
The Tudor Pelagos is a watch that I have found to be a great looking piece. Being late to the game.. I discovered just yesterday that the new models will get an in-house movement with some of the modern upgrades, such as a silicon hairspring and improvements to shock resistance. These features put it on my personal radar (I like the peace of mind knowing I have a solid and accurate movement, less prone to shock and magnetism - in no way do I mean to flame the ETA).
Both watches have aesthetics that I really like, which are unique to each of them. In my quest to remain a minimalist watch collector, I would enjoy hearing your opinions on how the new Pelagos stacks up against the SDc4000. I sort of feel that they are on the same playing field, albeit on opposite ends. If you had to choose one or the other, which would you go for? Side note, I have a 116600 incoming tomorrow. |
