Icon20 Independent Watch Dealers - How do they do it?

How do independent watch dealers aquire brand new watches like the ones that are sold in the classifieds section?
And how are some of them able to offer the warranty information with the buyer's name on it? I thought that one's name could only be entered if purchased from an AD.

I understand that a lot of independent watch dealers have been able to build relationships with various ADs, but I guess I'm just unclear how they source their watches and products and are able to make a profit from their sales from reduced prices.

I'm new here and if anyone can shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
