Minute Hand Moving Fast?

Yesterday I took my watch for a run (Submariner) and when I finished I noticed the watch had gained almost 20 seconds maybe from weird movements during the run? Anyway, I reset my watch at noon to align the minute hand and the second hand, and today I noticed that while the second hand has been perfectly in line, the minute hand is moving faster, so it displays now almost a minute ahead of where it should be. That was this morning maybe around 9. As it approached noon the watch began to correct itself, and by noon it had somehow perfectly realigned and displayed the right time again. But now its 5:25, and the watch is once again back at a minute fast, not the second hand, but the minute hand moving more than 1 minute in the one full rotation of the second hand. Did i mess up the watch during my run, or am I just for the first time noticing this because I reset the watch yesterday?
