The Little Old Lady and Her Pet Canary

A little old lady goes to the vet because her canary is "sick".....

The grizzly old vet takes one look at the bird in the shoebox (which is lying upside down, feet in the air). He tells her to leave it for the day and he will do what he can.....

Once in the back room, the vet hands the tech a $5 bill, and tells him to go to the pet store for another bird.

He returns shortly with the new bird and they check it over to make sure it matches the deceased one. The front desk calls the little old lady to come and pick up her pet bird. The total bill is $5.00....

The very next day the little old lady calls the clinic and says she needs to talk with the vet. Fearing the worst, he answers the phone..

"Doc, you're a miracle worker. Yesterday Henry was very sick. Today he is not only well, but he sang for the first time in his life!"
