Icon20 flip advice.Panerai to Rolex?

Hi Guys,
I am faily new to your forum(which is fantastic by the way).
I own a PAM 104 44mm-great watch ,had it for a year.Have owned rolexes before-daytona ss,sub date and explorer 2.Cant really afford more than one expensive watch(maybe 1 more at a pinch but marraige may be on the line if I do!).
Love the new ss GMT and have been offered a decent part ex price to change.
Things nagging me are
1.shinny bracelet on the GMT.
2.tHE ad has said he would matt it down.Thoughts please ?
3.which watch will keep its value best?
4 I have a thinnish wrist.Doesnt bother me but what does everyone think about this?Obviously the GMT is smaller.
Will try and post a pic soon of the Pam but what are your thoughts?
Regards Jan.
