Are Frankenwatches real???
Gentleman and any Ladies out there, I've recently been in the market for my first Rolex and I've fallen in love with the White Gold Blue bezel Blue Dial Submariner. Unfortunately it does not have the same feeling for me costing way more than I'm able to spend.
Just today I went to a local shop who sells several jewelry items Rolex being one of them. They had a watch there and he told me that it was a watch put together from different watches essentially. Stainless Band, with a blue 'Nipple' bezel I think he said please correct me If I'm wrong. My question is, Is a "custom" or a Franken Rolex, with authentic Rolex parts a real Rolex? I like the watch, the price is the same as a Black Face Black bezel from the same year. What are your all opinions please. Thanks Andrew |
