I am going to guess late 40's early 50's.
Pre- WWII watches tend to be smaller, especially with Rolex.
And style is much more reminiscent of that era.
Rolex re-started their serial numbers in 1953, so if you based your estimate of age by the serial number, it maybe mid 50's.
