Most important watch I've ever purchased. Wanted to share with TRF fam

First and foremost thanks to TRF community for making my addiction seem normal lol.

Backtrack to 2010, five years ago. I recently hit rock bottom around this time, and I had to move back in to my fathers home. It was hard on me since I squandered a lot of money bringing myself to this situation. It was even harder on my dad since he had to see me start over (literally asking for $20 for gas and food) and convincing my stepmother that it's ok to help me. I thank god to this day that he did, he took a GIANT risk and loaned me approx 7k to start my own business. On top of that he incurred stress from family members saying it was stupid giving me money especially since he was on a real tight budget, and I would lose it all.....Four months later I paid him back in full.

Fast forward to 2015, I have everything I could ever want and more. My future is brighter than ever, and my family couldn't be more proud. All of my success is because of my dad and growing older it makes me love him even more thinking about it. I decided this Father's Day I would give him something he could always remember me by.

Since I last saw my pops, he was excited for me about my watch collection and admired all the details and craftsmanship of my Rolexes. I decided then that he needed one too. The thought process began, first I wanted something he could show off to his friends and went the 18k/TT route but realized he would never wear anything that "loud". It's important to me that he can wear it where ever and feel comfortable with it, yet still have function. So I narrowed it down to the SubC and GMT IIC. The GMT won with the PCL's which makes it a little flashy while still subtle and the fact that it has a GMT hand. We have the same size wrist so I had a link removed so he can put it on as soon as I hand it to him. I also set the GMT hand to my time zone so he can check on me throughout the day.

Sorry for the long story, I'm sure your ready for the pics!
(I'm handing him a pen to fill out the warranty card as soon as he puts that thing on!)
