FSOT: Rolex Air King Date 5701 (Circa 1977) Stainless Steel/14kt Gold Fluted Bezel
I am selling a Rolex Air King Date Ref. 5701 watch originally from Canada which has a Stainless Steel case and has a 14kt Yellow Gold Fluted Bezel. It has a champagne dial which is in beautiful shape with clean lume dots.
The watch is attached to a 19mm aftermarket leather strap with generic buckle at the moment. It has a 5.1 million serial number which dates the watch to 1977 production. When I first got the watch it's acrylic crystal was a bit rough so I had my watchmaker put a brand new genuine Rolex 25-117 acrylic crystal I had bought from a seller with alot of NOS Rolex parts on eBay in it's original packaging and he also replaced the case back gasket. I haven't had the movement serviced and I would recommend having that done if you are keeping the watch long term or concerned about water resistance since it hasn't been pressure tested - it runs a bit fast, maybe 2 minutes fast a week from me casually timing it. I am asking $1450 shipped by insured USPS Priority Mail to anywhere in the United States on the leather strap you see pictured, or I will include a genuine Rolex 7835/357 rivet bracelet I have in decent shape which originally came with this watch for $200 extra, although I am having a hard time re-attaching it without proper tools. I accept Paypal or cash in person. I will entertain trades for other Rolex models such as a 1600 or 16000 series datejust, or I would also consider trading this watch for GIA or AGS certified diamonds for part or full payment. I prefer in person transactions in the tri-state CT/NY/MA area but I have been on eBay since 1997 under seller id accessorybuddy with 100% feedback and have sold a few items on here as well. Please PM me with any questions or text me at (203) 470-2203. I am off Sunday and Monday from work or any other day I will reply back on my lunch break from work or after work as I can't use my phone at work. Thanks, David |
