New here - about time I made an account!
Hi,
After a little lurking I decided to join the forums properly and would like to introduce myself. (I usually stick to watchuseek) I've been infatuated with watches my whole (relatively short) life, but it has only been recently that I've delved into fine watches. About 3 years ago I inherited an Omega Cosmic Moonphase from my grandfather. It was at this point that the obsession began, and it took me 2 years to get my first brand new swiss watch, a Speedmaster 3570.50. A year later, I graduated to Rolex. I've always believed that the submariner was the quintessential Rolex, so I decided to start off with a 114060. It hasn't been off my wrist much since I got it. I've now set my sights on a vintage piece. A 5513 meters first tops the list, or perhaps a birth year 16700. I've also let my head be swayed by the BLNR. One thing is clear, in order to enter the vintage market, I'll need a lot more information/ education. I look forward to contributing to the forum! Pics of my watches: |
