that is an interesting question. For me, I always wear one watch. I don't really trust the little safe in hotel rooms. One time I couldn't open the safe in the hotel ( in Asia) it was malfunctioned or I made a mistake setting up the 4 digit code. I called the front desk and someone came up and opened the safe with a master key. From that point on, I never trust the hotel safe knowing it is so easily opened by hotel staff.
If I travel to a place where I may buy a high end watch, I will wear something cheap. Wear the new watch on my wrist back and mail the box&papers home via FedEx. If I am not planning to buy a watch, I will wear one of my Rolexes. |
