It triggered the metal detector in Bangalore India, which caused a major event with the security police. Also triggered alarms in Muscat Oman, security wasn't happy I kept it on. Dubai security was more polite, but looked at me like I was some sort of tourist flying for the first time.

I haven't tried leaving it on in the US. I guess my international experience has me trained to secure it in the carry on before I enter the airport.
