Anyone watching this and stepping back to Germany in 1983?

I have been watching this for the first season (in the USA) and liking it so far. The soundtrack and the tension reminds me very much of those days - as a teenager American living in Germany at the time.

It is on in the US on Sundance TV, auf Deutsch aber mit untertitel.
