Greetings from Sweden
Hi all forum members,
I’m a Swedish guy in the upper middle age. I have a genuine interest in technology, I work with it as my profession and I also have a great interest in history of technology. Watches fits well in here. My preferences are classic tool watches with a history connection. No surprise that my first serious watch became an Omega Speedy Pro, bought some years ago after being inspired after reading about the Speedmaster's in NASA's space program. I still own this Speedmaster. However one watch is not enough and I soon started to be attracted to Rolex and Tudor's strong tradition of tool watches so I'm also now an owner of a Tudor 79090 That represent the traditional diver. The 79090 also satisfy my attraction to vintage since this watch has a great vintage feeling and still safe and affordable to buy for me that doesn’t have enough knowledge and guts to go for the real stuff in the vintage world. My third watch is a Rolex Explorer 2 16570 Polar that I bought only a few weeks ago since it's such a beautiful summer watch. I'm not sure if I will keep it because on top of my wish list is a GMT Master. Let's see what the future will bring to me hopefully inspired after reading and writing in great threads here. Regards, Ville_W |
