Help me feel better... tell me something silly you did.

So, I want to get back to the gym, I bought an MP3 player, about $50.

Loaded all the songs on it. Used it three times and lost it. It is small and it clips on your shirt or whatever. I clipped it on my pants when I left the gym, but it must have fallen off on the way to the car. Nobody turned it in.

I kick myself, $50 wasted. Now I think it could be worse right. I could have lost my phone or my watch, then I would be seriously bummed out. But still since it was a brand new MP3 player.

So can anyone relate, it could have been worse, but anyone else got a story to share so we can commiserate together? Anyone make a bonehead move that was like throwing $ away.
