Seiko lets you order Grand Seiko bracelet parts by calling their 1-800 number
I recently acquired an SBGE009 and it's lovely, but a bit tight on me. I thought it might be a bit of a task to get links for a Grand Seiko bracelet, but I was pleasantly surprised to be able to call Seiko directly and have the links mailed to me, no questions asked!
"To order replacement parts for your timepiece, please contact us at: 1-800-722-4452. We are happy to sell the following parts directly to consumers: bands, links, straps, clasps, batteries, and various band parts." Just have the caseback number handy (or at least the model number) and they'll help you out. Note: If you have a Japan-only model (like mine), they will have no information whatsoever about it, so it's up to you to find a watch with an equivalent bracelet. I just asked for links for an SBGR057 (it's available in the US and has the same D308AB bracelet). They didn't even take any payment information so I assume there will be an invoice along with my 1.5 links. It would be nice if more companies let you order bracelets and links directly! |
