Do engraved rehaut Subs have S/N's between the lugs too?
I generally follow 4-number subs and GMT's, but have been looking into a 14060M COSC four-liner as a modern compliment. Are these 2008-2011 subs, with the S/N engraved into the rehaut, also supposed to have a serial number between the lugs?
I've been looking at one offered by a private seller on-line. The pictures he provided show both a S/N between the rehaut, and a second S/N between the lugs. The numbers are different, although both start with an "M". All else with the watch, dial, bracelet, looks correct, and the model number is where expected between the 12 o'clock lugs. Photos of the warranty card and green tag were provided, but numbers blurred out so no help there. Can any owners of late COSC 14060M's provide me with insight please? I'm just a little thrown with why there would be two serial numbers on the watch (lugs and rehaut), and why they wouldn't match. I have no reason to suspect otherwise - just trying to do due diligence. My intent is also to see clear photos of all cards and numbers before purchasing, but trying to do my homework up front. thanks! |
