We are expecting a baby boy and I wonder if I should either - commemorate his birth by buying myself a watch - or buy him a watch for when he is all grown up.

What did you gentleman ( and / or ladies ) do?

The kind of watches I would be looking at would probably be a modern Tudor - or an Omega Speedmaster ( I was born in the summer of '69, just after moon landings and was named Neil….)
