Sea dweller bezel

Good Morning all,

Just bought a 2002 16600 sea dweller in fantastic shape. As I am very meticulous about my watches, I noticed that the bezel was a little lifted from the part that it sits on. It will press down, but then slides back up. I have tried popping the bezel off and making sure there wasn't anything in there under the flat metal piece between the bezel. Was curious if there was a fix you all knew of or if it really mattered. I plan on wearing this thing in the pool so need to be sure it is secure. Thank you.
