1965 Grand Seiko

While on vacation in Japan, it seemed only natural to go looking for nice souvenirs, and what could be nicer than a vintage Japanese timepiece?
I was fortunate enough to come across a 1965 5722-9990 Grand Seiko in great condition.

I got rid of the (not that great) strap it came with, and fitted it with a nice dark brown lizard strap from Camille Fournet, which really fit the look of the watch (IMO, of course). I also fitted it with a Grand Seiko deployant, just because I prefer deployants .

My first vintage Seiko, and I am loving it!
