FS: Rolex Submariner 5513 Meters First 1967
Hello Friends,
Selling my Rolex Submariner with a meters first matte dial. Serial number is 176XXXX which dates this watch back to 1967. The dial surface is nearly flawless and the yellow patina on the hands, pearl, and plots match throughout. Plots are nice a puffy and have not been relumed. White edges around the plots/markers help to indicate that it hasn't been relumed. The watch however still retains a bit of lume which is correct for watches from this period. You really have to blast the dial with a lot of light to get the effect but the lume itself fades almost immediately. Hands have no corrosion or pitting. The case is only ever so slightly polished and still retains it's thickness and sharp chamfers. chamfers are evident on all four lugs. Lugs are nice and thick as well. Comes with the original twinlock crown. The correct mark II insert has faded to a nice blue hue and in great condition with very minor scruffs. Pearl is intact with matching patina. The watch currently comes on a service crystal but I will be happy to include a modern domed crystal/t19. The watch was serviced in April of 2015 so the movement is keeping excellent time and the bezel rotates nicely. Comes with a 93150 bracelet in good condition with not too much stretch, 10 links total. I am active on many forums so I can certainly provide references on request. Please feel free to ask any questions or ask for more pictures (I'm not the greatest picture taker), I would be happy to help. Price is $9300 and includes insured shipping via Fedex. Wire transfer preferred. Text me at 203-376-9335 or email me at [email protected] for more questions. |
