Some manufacturers are geared differently, especially those that do not have an active winding crown.
These watches will auto-wind faster, but the trade off is that they will rotate the mainspring in the barrel if they are always over-wound, essentially wearing out the mainspring barrel. It's a trade-off in manufacturing and engineering design. All watch movements are not the same..
