Advice on getting a PM watch polished

I know many people feel strongly about keeping their watches unpolished and keeping scratches as war trophies. On the other side, the condition of the watch is nagging me quite a bit. (All my other watches are mint)

I have a PM Daytona that has a lot of swirling on the PCL's and Bezel. The PCL's don't bother me too much, but the bezel in daylight really gets to me. Issue I'm worried about polishing the bezel is making sure the font on the bezel is still black and legible.

Also the bracelet has a few small nicks on the side edges. Can those easily come out without shaving too much?

Also, do people prefer using RSC or having an independent like ABC do the job?

Any input would be greatly appreciated guys. If anyone has pics that would be great too!
