Yes but the AP ceramic is hard enough to not break you just need to be a little careful with it and nothing will happen, it's not a beater if you need a beater then you take a sub or in worse case a SS diver, I've never heard anyone on this forum saying they chipped their CE AP, it's a sports watch but just not made for sports in which there are risks of shocks, it suits me just fine
