Hoping for some advice/help from the community here.
While looking for a new daily wearer I've come across an opportunity to pick up a 16750 GMT "Pepsi" bezel with a 3075 movement at a very attractive price - due to the fact that the watch is a "re-case". Being somewhat new to collecting please pardon my ignorance but I'd love to know what a "re-case" is and why it would take place. The work was done by Rolex and essentially the watch noow looks like a new 16710 except that it still retains a 62510 jubilee bracelet (probably original but I plan to switch it for custom leather)
So as a "daily wearer" and not an investment piece would you consider it?
How does a "re-case" effect value?
Thoughts appreciated,
