FS: Omega flightmaster 910 & 1159 bracelet restored & serviced by Michael Young

For sale please find a 1970 or 1971 Omega Flightmaster caliber 910, reference ST 145.013, that I purchased from the original owner and just had restored.

This watch just returned (27 Nov 2015) from a full bracelet and case restoration and movement overhaul with Michael Young (search this forum if you are unfamiliar with his work). The bracelet was disassembled and each piece tightened to remove all age related stretch then restored back to the original polished center and brushed sides. The case was restored to the original sunburst brushed finish. The movement was completely overhauled and serviced. The cost of the restoration and service was a bit more than $1200 USD (buyer to receive full details and service receipt from Michael Young).

Original dial has nice patina with beautiful chocolate subdials. The watch is all original including the rare 1159/155 bracelet, pushers, crowns and domed crystal (all original to this watch). The only thing not original to the watch are the 2 new spring pins securing the bracelet to the case. The original purchase information is included with the two original Omega guarantee booklets. Serious buyers contact me for a picture of that info.

The watch was originally purchased at the Navy Exchange, Sicily (NAS Sigonnella) on 8/24/1971. I purchased it from that owner. One flaw with the watch is that Michael Young left a small piece of material (looks like a tiny metal shard) under the glass. You can see it in the pics next to the number 10 on the bezel. I was going to take it to a local jeweler to pop the crystal and blow it out (they said it would cost $75) but decided to sell the watch instead of keeping it to help pay for some classes. Serial number of watch is 316XXXXX (full number given to buyer). The word “flightmaster,” the jet and Omega on the caseback are all still visible just had a really hard time capturing them in the picture. Diameter is 43mm and lug width is 22mm.

I will ship this well protected to you using your preferred carrier. Payment is by certified check, postal money order or wire – whatever is easy for you. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions or ask for more pictures. Price is $2985 firm plus actual shipping cost. Happy to ship internationally.
