My first Rolex

Hello everybody,
I have started collecting watches only two years ago. My collection is very small and consists of Maurice Lacroix Calendrier Retrograde and Choard Mille Miglia GT XL. They are both with leather straps (black and brown).
I have decided I need a watch on a bracelet.
I have been looking at Rolex for some time now - I have narrowed my search to few models:
Submariner date (black)/stainless steel
Submariner date LV (green)/stainless steel
Daytona ss - which is nowhere to be bought
Daytona steel/gold - hmmm
Ok - I am 27 years old and not sure if steel/gold watch would look good.
On the other hand - the daytona seems very well fit for a guy my age.
I am buying watches in Singapore/ Hong Kong, but my friend is visiting USA next week and I thought it would also be a good place to shop for a Rolex.
Do you know any shops with good price level, or any that give discounts for Rolex? I would also be very happy to hear your comments and advices on which watch to choose.
